hi all,
does the xiaomi mi5 support android pay as it has nfc?
if not can you name a chinese mobile phone that supports android pay as the elephone p9000 has nfc but doesnt support android pay

Mi5 support of Android Pay is spotty. Some ROMs working some not. Some OTA updates ruining functionality. Also, some people able to add cards, but not actually able to use it in stores.
My recommendation if you need this as a reliable function is to not buy a China phone. Google is very strict as to what's devices are allowed.

why do chinese phones come with NFC but not android pay doesnt make sense to me as i would have thought any NFC android phone you can install android pay and off you go?
