Extra button : switch function to camera - mirog - 2016-03-11 I noticed that the extra button became useless when using another camera app. To trigger the take of the picture to any camera app this what I done. As root in /system/usr/keylayout/gpio-keys.kl change the line key 249 FUNCTION in key 249 CAMERA then reboot the phone now the extra button trigger the take of the picture in any camera software. By long press the button that turn on the original camera app and I want to change this behaviour to the camera app that I want: How do I do ? I can take pictures with any camera software via the button. Launch my favorite camera software and/or do other stuff like launching an app, control music player, turn on and off flashlight. You have to do the modification above, Install xposed framework reboot phone dowload and install the module Physical Button Music Control reboot phone activate and custom the behaviour of the extra button as for vol +/- button.
