iNew i6000 bricked after memory test - costa974 - 2013-08-22

I bought a iNew i6000 2gb/32gb rom by chinavasion.com.

It seems to be the same as FireFly V65.

I was playing with SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1316.0.150 and I made a ram test.

Now my device is bricked. It's still recognized when I plug the usb cable.

But I always get an error:
BROM ERROR : S_DL_GET_DRAM_SETTING_FAIL (5054)

[EMI] Obtain DRAM Failed!

Please check your load matches to your target which is to be downloaded.

whatever I do.

Can anyone help me?

I bricked an IOcean X7 by flashing a ROM that was wrongly labelled for it. I got the DRAM error on Spflash Tools. I ended up having to send it back as I couldn't UNB Rick it. The DRAM error means the bootloader is corrupt.I've read that you can still flash it but it has to be with an official factory ROM. Also, I've read that you should never use the memory test on Splash tools as it will brick your phone

in my opinion.
as long as yr phone (without the battery) connect to the computer, and the computer give u a sound, that mean u can unbrick it with the right rom. not necessary to have a stock rom , but it must be cable flash rom. peolple normally said stock rom, because , custom rom normally are in card flash type.

for china MTK chip phone, I will say it will never be brick. I had read a thread, even the computer did not give u a sound, u still be able to recover the phone, that will be another procedure.

I have the same issue.iPad mini clone of MTK 6589.Mistakenly pressed Format and now i get the same error.I have the factory ROM, but i get error, check the load..etc etc.
my pc can detect though, but SP flash tool cant flash beyond Preloader
