[Innos D6000] Lost GPS after update to v2.4 - GottaGetX - 2015-11-01

Anyone else have this problem? I have no GPS at all. I tried every suggestion I could find on the net. Delete GPS.conf, Faster GPS, NTP fix. Everything. Seems like maybe something with driver file? Any suggestion? I will try to flash to a different ROM but I don't hold much hope.

Solved. Well there was no signal at all. Then I pressed some metal against this contact point and instantly all the satellites lit up.

Here is the contact point:

Before attach metal. Even leave on for 2 hours. No signal.:

After remove metal, there is no signal, or looks something like this sometimes:

When metal attached (first I tested with fingernail clipper scraper Fu Man )

I don't know if somehow antenna got cooked from phone to hot or shorted somehow? I don't know. Anyways, now must find a way to attach some metal to there permanently or at least so it stays touching the contact point. I think not too difficult. But for now I will let it go and enjoy the day.

Hello !

I have the same problem with v2.5 but touching the contacts with something metallic (like a clip - paper holder) didnt work.

Anyone has the same problem with its GPS on v2.5 ? I tried all kind of apps to fix the GPS. EPO fix, Faster GPS, ... but at most I got just 4 satellites "seen" by the GPS test app which I think it is not enough to get a fix.

Did you leave GPS test on for a long while? If you leave it on for a long time outside and no fix still, you might try to reflash with PC. That will wipe everything and start fresh.

I have fixed this problem by installing the app :

GPS fix. >> [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

It really does the job. One has to be patient, but it works, and now that the GPS is fixed on my Innos it just takes seconds to get it working. Normally it can "see" about 8 to 12 satellites and it fixes to 5 or 6 (it varies). Sometimes I get an accuracy of 3 or 4 meters but normally varies between 9 to 13. All in about less than 2 or 3 minutes.

The screenshot was taken inside my house, so it should be even better outside in open spaces.

Not too bad.

By the way, does anyone know how to get a screenshot without configuring the extra button as "screenshot" ? I mean a pressing combination of buttons to get it done. As in android 4.x. Thanks !
