Shadowgun is free on Amazon Underground - modestMouse - 2015-08-30
There's a new program from Amazon called Amazon Underground. Developers make money from time users spend playing the game (not sure ads show or what from Amazon?).
Shadowgun which is $5 on Play is free now on Underground.
Download Amazon Underground, then search Shadowgun. Looks like many freemium games and paid games free there now.
Please report back your experience. I'm downloading Shadowgun now. Will see how that goes.
Plays great. No ads so far from Amazon or otherwise.
In Amazon Underground app, tap "Underground Apps" to get to all of the free apps and games. Apps which usually cost money to buy are free there, and apps which have in-app purchases make all in-app purchases free.

Thanks for the tip! Mickey Mouse and Castle of Illusion. Looks like a cool platformer. $10 on Play, I just checked. Free on Underground.

You guys are going to get me addicted. Are you really digging Shadowgun? I also saw a Bruce Lee game that looked pretty fun. And the Goat Simulator. So many games, such little time (and device space).

If you like shooters, Shadowgun is quite good. Really good graphics and smooth gameplay. I also downloaded that Mickey game. A cool platformer with very good graphics too. Doubt I'll play either very much, but can't beat the price.

I think I downloaded the Mickey game for the PS3 a long while ago. I spent maybe 15 minutes playing it before it lost my interest. I couldn't help but feeling a tad bit creepy being an alleged "adult" playing a full-blown kids game.

Goat simulator for free?!!! That's been on my steam wishlist forever. Were you able to download shadowgun?
Seems to be country specific. -_- I'm seeing the apps tagged as Actually Free, but won't let me download them. I've tried switching countries, but they won't be fooled hehe
