Wrongf language since I did a factory reset - boblx2 - 2015-08-09

I have a Lenova note 8 A936. I have only had it less than a week and I tried to do a factory reset. When I did the phone came up in another language. I don't know what it is but it is not English, I think it is Portuagese or something. I have Googled this problem with no results.
So how do I get this phone back to English without re-flashing it. The phone is still under warranty so I don't want to do that. I tried going to settings but after I was there I could not find anything to do with languages.

Please help

Check again in settings. I've never seen a smartphone without an area in settings to choose language. Look at the icons for a clue as to which it is (often an 'A').

Also, language setting is in the same group as where you choose keyboard, so that should be further help. Setting language is usually at the top of Language & input setting group.

Okay thanks for your help I found it. It was the fourth one from the bottom, it is easy now that is in English but I have no idea what it said before. Smiling

Thanks for replying it was help for you to encourage me to keep looking in the setup I was almost ready to re-flash it but I hated to do that on a new phone. Now I will know how to reset the language if it pulls that again. lol
