Genuine MTK6589T vs overclocked MTK6589. - Maine_Coon11 - 2013-08-01

Hi,

Is there a way to distinguish between the genuine MTK6589T and overclocked MTK6589?

I've seen several reports claiming that some phones, for instance B6000, have not a real MTK6589T, but overclocked MTK6589.

AnTuTu reports MTK6589 on B6000.

Opinions?

have you ever seen antutu report MTK6589T?

mine reports MTK6589 in my Tianhe H920+, but 1.5Ghz x4 as clock rate.

not sure why I should worry if the performance and stability are both good.
