Could you expand on that? I mean, I already have a 6582 phone. It would be nicer to have one with gorilla screen and better camera, and, well, much more beautiful.

Do you think it would be a great step up from the T5s or for a "wow" effect I would need to go to a 6592 model??

sound quality - it's a debate, but that there even exists a discussion is not good news.
GPS - here in Israel some people were disappointed.
battery is average or better than that... for now my v3 running for 1day and 20 hours with 29% left

sound quality with quality headphones like ep-630 is very good for me... i don't understand why ppl here complaining :-)

only GPS is weak spot... without internet it's not precise and locking takes too much time. sometimes you can't even lock without internet

Do you mean without wifi or without mobile internet? I must say my mobile data is on all the time and I never tested it in airplane mode. If it is the same as thl t5s then indeed I will be very happy/

I can confirm that my iNew V3 (850/2100 radio, first batch) come with a misspaired headset with wrong wiring. It works properly with older chinese phones.

I'm now using a Sony wired headset from a Xperia P, a GA-U501. It works properly and sound is much better.

So, a Sony STH30 wired headset is expected to work. Also, a iPhone like headphone replacement part will work, not tested.

This is all related to the 850/2100 radio V3. There is a more recent V3 with 900/2100 radio. It seems to have good paired headset, but with old sound conector.

Most branded phones (Samsung/HTC/Sony) are using now iPhone like sound conector (Well, Sony Z2 now uses a new 5pin digital capable).

Any bluetooth unit, like the Sony SHB80, will also work, but it's a more expensive solution.

Please, anyone with a 850/2100 radio V3 and some sparse iPhone like headset can test if this work properly on the V3. I'll really glad to know about this.

First major flaw I've come across and I've had the phone 2 months now, went for a jog earlier and the sound was woeful from the Inew. So annoyed I need music when I run.

From my experience if you disable BesAudEnh in settings under Audio Profiles it sounds much better.*
I didn't notice that the headphone output on this phone is any worse than any other phone I had - with that setting turned off.
Curiously, in the THL T5s BesAudEnh actually improves the sound, or rather, it boosts the headphone output without distorting it.

* As already mentioned higher in this post.

I used a Samsung headset - sounded good. Now I have a "Jabra Chill" headset that sounds better but is not in-ear but earbuds (i.e. no silicone tips). I am awaiting Xiaomi Pistons to come in the mail.

Mind you, my phone is from a different batch than Danyno's and has a different ROM and potentially different 3.5mm jack.

I've noticed even with the volume on 100% it's not as loud as I would like it to be, I shouldn't be able to hear traffic passing by when I'm walking down the street listening to music. Sound quality is really poor too

interesting - my inew with 900/2100 WCDMA works with my samsung headset without using an adapter.
quality is not superb, but its ok.
