RE: Stock iNew V3 firmware v1.0.1 dated 2014/02/25 - linr76 - 2014-03-16 umm, isnt there 2100 missing? that would be real bad since i need 2100. RE: Stock iNew V3 firmware v1.0.1 dated 2014/02/25 - nippon - 2014-03-16 2100 and 2000 are the same...work perfect. RE: Stock iNew V3 firmware v1.0.1 dated 2014/02/25 - Eliwood - 2014-03-16 Camera is different like in 1.0.4 Lewa - 12 Mp, F/2.0. But after taking a couple of shots it doesn't look like it's better than before. RE: Stock iNew V3 firmware v1.0.1 dated 2014/02/25 - nunytes - 2014-03-16 I want mine with 900 3G band too!! I'm afraid this don't gonna be happening with firmware update.. -.- RE: Stock iNew V3 firmware v1.0.1 dated 2014/02/25 - linr76 - 2014-03-16 For some of the MTK phones you could enable more frequencies through engineering mode it seems. don't know if that would work with the inew and i would not advise to try unless you dont care if it doesnt work anymore afterwards. RE: Stock iNew V3 firmware v1.0.1 dated 2014/02/25 - nunytes - 2014-03-16 The 900 band is locked. All are checked by default RE: Stock iNew V3 firmware v1.0.1 dated 2014/02/25 - Elusivo - 2014-03-16 So is it different hardware or different software radio? Mine uses wcdma 850 and 800 instead of the 900, but dunno if that makes any difference for me anyway. RE: Stock iNew V3 firmware v1.0.1 dated 2014/02/25 - nunytes - 2014-03-16 I'd like to know as well. In Portugal, Vodafone uses 900 band to difficult areas, such inside home. So, I don't have 3g in almost every buildings! RE: Stock iNew V3 firmware v1.0.1 dated 2014/02/25 - ahabec - 2014-03-16 Please point the people from the thread with the new bricked phones to here... Just to be certain: What should I be looking for? the date on the kernel? Also - iNew never supported OTA updates, right? RE: Stock iNew V3 firmware v1.0.1 dated 2014/02/25 - nippon - 2014-03-16 it's impossible to check all bands in engineer mode. |
