Hi blablork !

Many compliments for your very accurate informations (step by step) :-)
Your device is a little problematic ... you aren't the only person who has had these issues with Titans 2. I've found many information/procedures about Titans 2 ... but before publishing a final solution, I want to be sure that what I publish is correct ... you could be the right person to do some tests on Titans 2 ... I hope to don't destroy your device lol. Currently the only solution that is 100% safe is to install CyanogenMod 12.0 with Philz Recovery ... if you are interested to this safe solution please tell me. For now I'm looking for other solutions and material for the Titans 2.

Best Regards :-)

Hehe thanks, I'm a IT person myself so I know how helpful accurate informations can be Smiling
Funny thing is - I actually have two of these phones (long story). So the last weeks I've been testing and soft bricking and reflashing like there's no tomorrow because I have a spare one Big Grin
So yeah, I'd love to test the CyanogenMod 12 solution and possible other ones as well to help the community here and on xda Smiling

RE: Easy Magic PhilZ Touch Installer for MediaTek - blablork - 2015-09-03

Okay, I'm downloading right now and will test it!
I'm curious if I stumble into the same problem I've had weeks ago when I wanted to flash the 4.4 from Doogee - something seemed to be wrong with the display drivers as I've had massive problems with white lines flickering over the screen after that. The only thing that helped me was the early R21 (with Android 5) build which user tvladan on xda posted. Something was different with this one regarding the display.. it was very strange because other users didn't seem to have this flickering problem after flashing 4.4

Okay, SP Flash Tool gives me an checksum error:

Hi blablork !

I hope everything works well :-)
If the steps that I've suggested you will works fine ... you could make a backup with MTK Droid Tools and share it on Needrom. However, I have found also many custom ROMs for your device.

Good luck :-)

Hehe, I hope so too Big Grin
Do you have an idea about the checksum error I've posted?

RE: Easy Magic PhilZ Touch Installer for MediaTek - Cleopatra - 2015-09-03

Hi blablork !

I haven't any idea about the checksum error that you've posted ... desolated ... I'm trying to do all my best ... but I'm not a genius :-(
Try to flash the version of Cyano that I've given you with Philz (like I've suggested you).

:-)

RE: Easy Magic PhilZ Touch Installer for MediaTek - blablork - 2015-09-03

OKay, maybe I should explain. Currently I'm using the R21 build with Android 5. After the checksum error I thought maybe I should flash the normal Kitkat (with firmware upgrade setting in Flash Tools) and then flash the recovery.img in a second step.
So I did.

And here I have the same problem I've had weeks before - everytime I flash the R14 build (the KitKat one with Android 4 from you) my screen is totally blurred with lines going everywhere
[Image: MCklqkx.jpg]

I don't have a single clue why it behaves like this. I can only guess that it has something to do with the display drivers from this build that is different from those in the latest R21 build. But then, others can flash the R14 build with no problems.. very strange, I know Sad

I'll try this on my second device tomorrow when I bring it to work with me!

Edit: Hmm.. I don't really know what you mean with flashing the version of Cyano with PhilZ. When I've tried installing PhilZ and going to recovery my screen just stays black like I've posted earlier Sad

RE: Easy Magic PhilZ Touch Installer for MediaTek - Cleopatra - 2015-09-03

Hi blablork !

Sorry for my late reply ... I'm working too :-)
Have you ever tried the next versions of KK ? :

[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

And after that, try to install Philz with the exe ... if it will doesn't works, try to rewrite Recovery.
If this solution doesn't works, try the next version of KK (with CWM included) :

If also this solution will fails, try the next version of KK (with custom recovery included) :

Good luck :-)
