Yep. That was the first thing I tried. In my case, at least, it didn't help right from the start.
The only non-viable solution, I also came up with, was to copy the files to the path mentioned above and change the permissions. I found out, later, that elsita has done that as well.
*EDIT*: In my previous post, I made a mistake. I mentioned vreel, but I really meant to say elsita. My apologies, if some1 got confused.
