It does work. Be aware not all modules are 4.4.2 compatible, so ensure you check which ones you install.

@cabalo thanks so much for this post, man! I was just looking into doing this last night for my girl's phone, but didn't get time to do the backup and try it out.
I'm hoping specifically that the UnToaster module will work with the V8. I'll have to give it a shot next time I get a chance. Presuming she's willing to let me borrow her phone.

xBatteryThemer messed up my notification area, so I had to revert the changes to this module. But all of the gravity box changes I did worked flawlessly.
After all, we're using a near vanilla experience on this phone ;)
