hi there everyone im after rooting my samsung s4 5" 1.1 clone but can someone tell me how to find my exact model so i dont screw the root up
heres the info i have so far
5.0 inch HDC S4 1:1 i9500 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Quad Core MTK6589 1.7GHz 1GB/8GB GPS WiFi 3G Single Micro-Sim Card 8MP Camera Smart Phone

It's very likely not HDC. You purchased from FCT, yes? Regardless, unless you're flashing custom recovery prior to rooting, it will be nearly impossible to create a problem. Just follow the root sticky.

so root first then custom recovery next ?
also ive noticed cool root is this any good ?
