it has Krait cores; presumably even better than Cortex A9. The kind you find in high end stuff like the HTC One.
Hard to say how well it performs in practice compared to an MTK such as the Thl w100, though. I'd say the MTK is the safe choice.
On the other hand that Haier's CPU has been used in Western phones like the HTC One S, so you can *theoretically* expect a consistency of performance like that of a Western phone. I find that mtk6589 phones often skip a bit in activities that shouldn't tax the system so much. My current MTK6589T phone, for example, can't run the standard android launcher well. It's easily fixed by installing apex, but it's an example of imperfect consistency of the performance.

dhgate.com seem to have a pretty good range, I just got my first china phone from them for a pretty reasonable price

thl w100 arrived ... had to pay 23% customs charge... so far its very impressive . nice fast responsive..good pic. will see how the battery goes...came with no chinese apps installed. ready to roll in english. 2 batteries. a cover and a walet case. very happy ... battery life ...will see how it goes. thanks for the advice.
