Urgent Help Needed

I have a GoFone GF55X open sim & its rooted using KingRoot. I downloaded a file that changed the font to the Android Lollipop style, i placed it in the system folder & changed the permissions but forgot to change the permissions of the actual fonts so now when i turn the phone on it just keeps showing the bootanimation. I can get hold of another same spec phone but would like advice on how to flash the good fone files onto the bootlooped fone. Can anyone please help me with this problem. I own a samsung fone so have flashed files on that so thought it wpuld be the same but its not. The fone is for my 9yr old sons birthday at the end of November so need all the help i can get. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me get through this problem. I also have a .zip file that i got when i backed the phone up via mtk droid tools if this is any help.

You might be able to change the file permissions you need using "adb shell". Have you already messed around with this?

If in doubt, I'd just reflash the fresh ROM and start anew. Kingroot is very easy to use, and it'd probably save quite a bit of time to just flash it all and start over again.
