Wasted space on phone that can't be used

I have a Jiake N900W phone (4Gb)

The way that the space is split just doesn't seem efficient.

My internal storage is 0.99Gb and the phone storage is 1.79Gb.

Whilst I can use the internal storage, the phone storage remains at a constant 1.79Gb permanently and there seems no way to utilise it.

Is there any way to merge the two partitions in order to create one, which in my case would be 2.78Gb?

It seems crazy for a manufacturer not to make so much storage available.

That is for your pictures / movies etc...

Under System > Storage you can select default write disk. Also there are several EBR edit tutorials if you want to edit the EBR.

H7500+ forum might have some premade EBR for 4GB.
