Gionee is a very popular brand in India and looks like their headline this week is that they'll be releasing the Elife E8 with a 100MP camera.

The Gionee E8 will feature a rear fingerprint sensor, 6" QHD diplay, 3GB RAM and the MT6795 flagship SoC from MediaTek. Battery is rumored to be 3250mAh.

What if, for example, you wanted to crop in on someone or something and just stare at it. :| With 100mp u could crop in closer and see everything... |:
