Nope it says PMT has changed and must be downloaded. Whatever that means. My phone is not a mini as this ROM is far does that make a difference? Also should I still be using download on the Flash Tool since I already have a ROM on it? Or maybe I should be using format/download or something.

Hi boblx2 !

The message error "PMT changed for the rom" means that the partitions table on your smartphone are different from the partitions table of the rom that you want to flash with SP Flash Tools. You don't have to choose the option "Download Only"; but you have to choose the option "Firmware Upgrade" ... and then click on "Download" (below the green arrow).

Well thanks for all of your help. I think I must have damaged more than just the ROM when my battery fell out while the phone started booting. So I guess I will just call it a done deal and stop trying. I have tried too many ROMs for one of them to do something besides a dead phone.

Guess what? I think it was working with the first flash I did. The battery was dead! I had measured the 3.7V battery with my volt meter and it said the battery had 3.1V left. Of course that is without a load I have been burned by that before. Anyway the last flash I used on the phone apparently worked although there are newer ones then that, I think I will leave well enough alone and just be happy with the fact that the phone is now working. Hallelujah!!!
