Hi Spljoe, I'm making a video of how to change IMEI on China phones another way if you're getting “This command is not allowed in UserBuild”. The build of your firmware will not allow changing through this method. It's a common problem with the newer phone models.
For this new method, you will need to be

For this new method, you will need to be
- rooted
- ADB drivers installed
- USB debugging enabled
- MTK Droid Tools downloaded (see tools forum for that).
If you get through all those steps:
- attach phone to PC with USB
- MTK Droid Tools bottom-left square should be yellow and say "SU" is accessible if properly rooted.
- click "Root" in MTK Droid Tools in bottom-right corner
- allow any SU permission requests on your phone
- MTK Droid Tools bottom left corner square should turn green
- click "IMEI/NVRAM" button
- put your new IMEI in
- click "okay" to change
- click reboot in bottom-right of MTK Drood Tools
- wait for phone to fully reboot
- look at IMEI in MTK Droid Tools, it should be as you changed it

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth
