THL T200C or DOOGEE DG550

@usblaidas - I would like to hear this story of how they tried to scam you and how you took care of it. Could help people in the future. Possibly in a new thread though, if you have the time.

There was nothing special about that. I won a phone in ebay auction, seller sent me micro sd adapter and the I just opened a case about that and ebay returned my money. That's the story

I also have dispute with spemall, bought thl t11. They sent Jiayu G4s(with added feature which I call starry night camera), I complained and they said sorry and then ignore me. So I open a dispute in paypal, and they respond said they just got back to work from labor day(it is sunday btw?) and I got free expedited shipping for my next order but I should pay for the Jiayu. That was on sunday, got no response after that.

Should I pour more money? Shipping cost is around @$20.

PS: This is the starry night i mentioned above, nice isn't it. It is obtained in a dark room or by covering the lens with finger and without flash.

I don't promise, but I will probably might do some porting for THL T200C. But firstly it must arrive. But tbh, porting on mediatek is not really hard. All you need is to find rom from similar device (in T200C case - any 720p, mt6592 device) and then just copy over some files.

@usblaidas , does this mean you picked the T200C over the DG550? Regardless of the phone, congratulations on your purchase!

That's a pretty fantastic non-promise! I have SO much to learn about this stuff. Is there like a basic book or something where you started? Or was it all from forums and FAQs and videos and such?

Back on-topic: regardless of which phone you get, let us know your thoughts when you get it! And congrats again!

Yup, I picked Thl over doogee. It just did not look so realiable as Thl, plus my previous phone was also THL.

Yeah, cannot promise as I have exams to do this month (as our uni calls it exam diet ) but maybe i will find some time this or next month.
Best way to learn everything is just to do all sorts of practice with your own phone (but being careful of course) and just test it test it test it... If not working, google problem, repair problem, test. This can go for hours, but usually the result is pretty sweet :3

I will defo post back with my experience on this phone and opinion! Probably gonna be here in a few weeks or so (ordered from 1949deal, any exerience on shipping times to uk guys?). Thanks!
