I think there might be a solution..
Since in vold.fstab file in system/etc folder in Android 4.2.1 there is support for OTG too.. soo maybe we should try OTG Y cable, or OTG+USB Y.. Maybe externall 5V is needed.. Just a tought.. donno..

Thanks for thinking along.
But it's already confirmed that this device doesn't have OTG, you can still try it out if you're curious.

Yeah, I just tried it, and it does not work.. seems like I will just have to make custom ROM by making changes to mt6589 kernel provided by Sony, and taking all of the modules from my phone and putting them in that kernel.. That should work just fine..
But we will see..

Your link leads to the product where it specifically says:
Quote:On-the-go USB OTG Adapter turns your ZP980 and C2 into a USB host, allowing you to connect USB accessories such as keyboards, mice, flash memory drives and more to your phone.
ZP810 does not have OTG.
Whoever you spoke with is confused.

Yes, unfortunately i know it.
but google found that page is conatains (maybe in metadata) zp810 as compatibile device.
If you click on "questions" that page u can see my questions and zms's answers: they said (as said when i ordered this phone) that it is working as otg host.
I'm annoyed that they said again that it is support otg (but not answered, that if it is supports, for God's sake, HOW??????)
