[Question] S5 MT6582 USB problems

Hi all!

I'm having a weird issue, my S5 MT6582 suddenly stopped charging the battery when it's on. The only way to charge it it's by turning the phone off...

I can fix this by going into engineer mode (via mobileuncle) and by starting and stopping all the USB IF tests... but it's not a permanent solution because I have to do it every single time I want to charge the battery.

But what bothers me most is that I can't plug the phone to the PC. The PC can't and it won't recognize the phone, and I can't fix that via mobileuncle... (well, at least I don't know how)

Is there a way to fix this?

Is this a new phone? Have you made any modifications? Have you installed any apps recently, before the charging issue appeared?
When you connect the phone to PC, does the phone acknowledge the connection?
Have you tried a different data cable?

It's a 2 month old phone.

No, the only thing I did was a hard reset and even then the phone was charging fine. Now that I remember, I've tried to do a hard reset a 2nd time but it failed (the stock cwm just froze)

No, the phone doesn't. However the PC does. But every time windows shows me "Device not recognized"

Have you tried a different data cable?

Yes. same results.
