Roaming while at home, new china phone, Pulid F17

Hi guys,
For some reason my new pulid F17 ([Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] ) says it is roaming while I'm in my home country (UK). I'm on EE (Orange) and the WCDMA/3G network should be on 2100MHz which the phone supports. I've also checked the APN with no joy. Can anyone shed any light as to what might be going on, (I don't have this problem in my Samsung S2) ?

Have you tried turning data roaming off in the settings?

Hi Woolly,
Thanks for the reply. If I disable roaming data, then I get no data. If I disable roaming, my sim disconnects.
I think the issue is related to orange solely using EE's network now. I don't have the problem on other networks (Vodaphone for instance) but I'm still not quite sure how to fix it properly.
