First of all, the phone is still alive.
But still does not boot correctly
@Blueforcer
I managed to get my phone out of the boot loop, but bear in mind that I never tried to root my phone. All I did is try to block the 3 pieces of malware in the shipping ROM, using "Stubborn Trojan Killer", but I don't know if this is what caused the boot loop.
Anyhow, the way I got out of the boot loop was by a factory reset. I don't remember well but I think you have to push Power+Vol down. When I got presented with 3 menu options, (Recovery, Fastboot and some other) none of them did anything. One of the options (don't remember which one) got me to the screen with the laying down Android robot and the text "No Command".
In that screen, I then tried again the combo Power+Vol Down (or Up this time?) and this got me to a menu in chinese (nice...). I selected the "Wipe eMMC" option.
@Cleopatra
The shipping ROM is a piece a f***ing annoying malware. I want to try a mod (never done this before) but I don't want to run much risk of being left without a functioning phone.
I've seen some posts from you with different instructions and mixed degrees of confidence on the final result.
1) What are your latest detailed (I'm a dummy) instructions to install your mod?
2) Of course, you are not responsible but, what is your level of confidence that it will work?
3) Any downside of using your mod? (e.g. works well with all HW features?, radio, phone, camera, bluetooh, wifi, etc)
My HW is
BB Chip: MT6592
MS Board: prize6592_lwt_1
Built time: 2015-Dec-18
Kernel: 3.10.72 (koobee) gcc 4.8
SW ver: ALPS. L1. MP6 V2.23.2_PRIZE6592.LWT.L_P10
Thanks a lot
