I rooted my Apollo X yesterday but I have a couple of problems.
1. When I boot the phone up it gets to the Vernee splash screen and there is now the following in very small text:
Orange State. Your device has been rooted and can't be trusted. Device will boot in 5 seconds.
2. I can't get into recovery mode.
With the phone turned off, I hold the volume up and power keys and it takes me to a screen with the following:
Select boot mode, Volume up to select, Volume down is ok.
Recovery Mode
Fastboot Mode
Normal boot
I use the volume up to select recovery mode and then volume down to ok it, the phone then goes to a screen with the android robot on it's back with the words No Commands.
I then have to hold the power button to get out of it.
The phone is working okay apart from these 2 problems and it seems to be rooted, installed an app the requires root and supersu asked for permission.
Can you help please.

And check if SuperSU and BusyBox are properly installed.
Keep in mind that a rooted phone is unable to the OTA updates.
I suggest you to check periodically (at intervals of 4 weeks) the OTA updates.
You will have to flash my NEW stock firmware (at the post above).
Remember the "Firmware Upgrade" option onto SP Flash Tool.
Then, download all the OTA updates available.
Then, unlock the bootloader.
Then, root your phone.
Regarding the second point :
The CMD command : fastboot boot c:\adb\recovery.img
Thanks to this CMD command the TWRP is not installed onto your phone.
If you try to enter onto recovery of your phone,
you will enter onto stock recovery.
To enter onto stock recovery is just a little bit complicated.

I suggest you to install BusyBox too.
Inside the next rar there is the last version of BusyBox :

STEPS :
1) Copy BusyBox.zip inside your microSD.
2) boot the twrp with the next cmd commands :
adb reboot bootloader (and press enter)
fastboot boot c:\adb\recovery.img (and press enter)
3) Tap on "Install".
4) Tap on "Select Storage" and tap on "Micro SDCard".
5) Tap on "Busybox.Installer.v1.26.2-ALL-signed.zip".
6) Swipe to confirm Flash.
7) When installation is finished, swipe to reboot.

I can not get to recognize my windows 8 (win 7 too)
No indication can make me believe that it recognizes it (no indication)

Just try all them until you find the most appropriate to your expectations.
However, it is a work in progress.
At this moment I am trying to improve the performances of the custom roms.
Very soon I will release other jobs.
