[ROM] Third Realese of iNew_V1.0.7 + Preinstalled CWM + ROOTED [20/03/2014 UPDATE]

On the russian forum (another forum) everyone who flashed 1.0.7 have touchscreen problems. Please tell version of the phone (under battery) those who have no problems with touch after updating and otherwise those who have problems. I think this firmware is version specific.

mine is inew v3 verson 4 (v4) , I dont have touch problems, but for me 2g simcards doesn't work

Did you check band mode with mobile uncle? Everything is enabled?

how should i do that?
I just checked in the model forum- engineer mode (android) -- phone information:
top lines are like this:
IMEI: unknown
phone number:
Current netwoek : RighTel (mt 3g operator name)
a little below there , there is this:
GSM service: Enabled
A little beloew there there is this option;
Set preferred network type : it was pre set to "wcdma only"

I tried to change it to gsm/cdma , or other gsm related options , they didnt work
now I set it on gsm only.
and both 3g and 2g simcards are offline now

I think this is the main problem. Restore IMEI first.

Reverting back to 1.0.5 solved the problem, but reverting to 1.0.4/1.0.3 didn't.

from which rom did you upgraded to 1.0.7??
I had Ultimate 1.0.3 , with that partition mod , that almost killed my phone
maybe my phone is tough it has survived from a brick, it won't let a stupid rom , paralyze it ;P jk

There are 4 things to try.

Check engineering mode see if they're available to checking

Write imei with MTK tool

Restore your nvram backup. You do have your nvram backup, yes. : )

Reflash 1.0.7, but remove baseband file first and copy all 3 baseband file from 1.01 original. Use firmware up mode. Not the download.

There is fast way without restoring nvram.
1. Enter in engineer menu - code *#*#3646633#*#*
2. Choose: "Connectivity"/"CDS Information"/"Radio Information"/"Phone1" (or "Phone2" for sim1 or sim2).
3 for sim1. In the field "AT+" write after all "EGMR=1,7,"your IMEI1"".
Result: "AT+EGMR=1,7,"your_imei1"". Press "SEND AT COMMAND".
3 for sim2. In the field "AT+" write after all "EGMR=1,10,"your_imei2"".
Result: "AT+EGMR=1,10,"your_imei2"". Press "SEND AT COMMAND".
5. Exit from engineer menu and restart phone.
6. Check IMEI - code *#06#.
But if you broke nvram, everytime after reflashing you loose your IMEI and you need to do this operation again.

That is not restore nvram. That is write imei. They are related but different.
