[ROM] New rom 2.6 (08.08.2016)
#21
I'm making/building an PgP/TOR/VPN/OTR/Ring (p2p DHT chat),ORWEB,Blacklist AppoppsXposed,K9, Triple whatsapp paranoid rom random IMEI's constant variant.

Installs fine through TWRP restore on 3 different D6000's.

Currently bugging with XPrivacy, but other then that it's working perfect so far.

Powernap, greenify, amplify and besides android Encryption there is EDS Lite (cracked variant somehow crashing)

If people are interested I'll post it, shoot me an PM or quote me.

Djarno.

Warning !!!

I had the ROM v2.4 abroad installed through QFil directly from v3.4.

No problem detected for 2 days.

Then I installed the v2.6 with the system update from settings.

Now big problem, there is NO DEFAULT LAUNCHER, so when you press on the home button you have a black screen of death. You must be sure to have another launcher installed to have a launcher.

Be sure to install any other launcher before going to v2.6.

Normally there is one (launcher2.apk)

Ok, it works now.

I had to clear all data of the default launcher app.

Not I will have to replace all those icons on the home screen.

The problem should have come from the change in launcher where the v2.4 had a customized one and v2.6 has a stock one.

Well, my phone never felt this snappy before.

I don't know if it's because of the phone or ROM or something else, but the recently received a call with 2 sim in my phone and the call quality was really bad.
Anyone ever had the same problem?

Hi, I have the Chinese model Innos D6000 (only now realised it is the Chinese version). I recently bought it privately and it worked fine except that I could not get local hotspot to work (laptop connected and said it had internet, but it didn't, even though the phone did). This is a feature I need to work!

I found the official 3.2 ROM and tried to flash it (transferred it to root via the SD card). It was accepted and started to flash, but stopped at about 1/4 way through and is now bricked. If rebooted, it just restarts flashing and then stops at 1/4 way again. I have since realised that this is for the EU version only. Don't know the difference, but there does seem to be one. I tried running down the battery (internal only in use), but on re-applying power, it just started flashing update (and then stopping) all over again. The only way I can stop this is to power off and then quickly press vol + & - to get into fastboot mode before it boots and starts flashing again. It vibrates to show it is in fastboot, but has noting on screen - is this normal?

Unfortunately, I have not been able to connect to the phone via USB to flash it via cable, as neither my laptop, nor any other laptop/PC I've tried will recognise the USB port – it ‘sees’ it in Device manager, but shows it as a failed connection (Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)). I have exhausted all options and now have a new USB cable on order, as that is all that is left that could be wrong. If that fails, I don't know what to do.

I also cannot get the phone into recovery (press power and vol +, then press and hold the same again when it reboots?). Anybody know any other way of getting into this, how to get it to connect to my laptop (if it's not the cable), or what the Chinese/EU model differences are?

Any ides or help much appreciated, as all of the guides I've found so far online have been pretty much useless (not enough information & non working (not required) USB drivers, or just driver 'updaters' claiming to be drivers!), or just plain old scam sites!

If you have the Chinese version (with Chinese characters inside next to the make/model), I suggest you do not try to update to 3.2 - unless anyone can tell me how to get round the 'Chinese model' problem! Thanks in advance.

There should be no difference internally between cn/eu model. The only difference I know of is a different back cover, different sticker below the battery and eu version has two imei numbers.
I updated my chinese version with 2.6 eu rom and now with marshmallow and it works fine with both.
Send me your email adress via pm and i'll upload for you the drivers and qfil i use. As long as the phone reacts in any way there is a chance to revive it.

Thanks Solim,

I would pm you, but I don't seem to have that option and there is no link on your profile to message/email you. Maybe you can pm/email me?

I have actually managed to find a driver that works and can now connect to my D6000 via QFIL, which I also now have. Unfortunately, none of the ROMs I have downloaded will flash. Some fail within seconds, one I thought was going to work, but failed 2/3 the way through! So it's just a matter of finding a good fastboot ROM on a non-baidu (Chinese) site! Anything would do, as the phone is a real brick right now - no screen, LEDs or vibrate, but it does still connect via QFIL! 2.6 would be great if you can send it,

Thanks again.

The Camel walks again - and I'm sure you know what that means!!

Thank you very much Solim, sorry for not replying earlier, but I did not know you had replied, as I didn’t receive a notification.

Finally, my phone is no longer 'bricked', but the problem was not the ROM, as I had originally thought. Once I got it flashed and booted up, it still had problems doing the final updating, so I plugged it back into the mains charger and it showed 0% charged, despite having been on charge from the mains charger for hours before flashing! It then took ages on charge before even getting to 1%. After that, it seemed to charge as normal.

I did use your ROM, thanks, but although the 2.4 abroad ROM I tried before didn't work, I think this was simply because the battery did not have enough power to finish the flash, as I cannot see any difference between that code and what you sent me the link for.

I can only assume that the problem all along was that of the phone running out of battery power while trying to flash it (hence stopping part way through). I don't have a removable battery, just the internal one and this had worked fine and had good charge before bricking it with the 3.2 ROM. I had it connected to the mains charger for hours while bricked, but it does not seem to have charged properly, so maybe the charging circuit controller does not work in this mode and possibly it reverts to a low current 'PC-USB' type charging mode(?). Obviously, while bricked, there was no indication of battery level (or anything else), so I just had to assume that the battery was charging OK - but clearly it wasn't.

So, if you are planning to flash a bricked D6000, leave it plugged into the mains charger all day before you try! If it stops part way through, it probably still doesn't have enough charge!

Anyway, it is now working, but I am yet to decide which ROM to use. 2.4 works fine and also 2.6, which I think I'll most likely go back to. The others I have tried have major problems. Originally, it had 3.0, which worked fine, apart from a few minor problems, which I now know I could have fixed - I wish I had just kept that! I have since tried 3.0 again (but it is clearly not the same EU/Abroad version as my original) and 3.2 again, which installed without any problems this time. However, it started with a home screen with no apps and needed a factory reset. I'm still experimenting with this, but it is a bit odd and proving very problematic so far, not least the fact that my SIM phone number is reported wrongly and doesn’t connect!

Anyway, thanks again for your help. If you could send me a link to the 2.6 Abroad ROM (or anything later that works properly!), that would be very helpful.
