I have tried to flash the lk.bin file from JB with the KK rom. All it does it show the INEW logo and keeps re-booting. If you flash the original KK lk.bin, the phone does not show anything if you have the incorrect screen.

I did try merging them together to try and get it working, but it refuses to flash the device if you do that. Just gives some random error.

How did you merge them?

Attempted to merge them. Tried finding where it is defined in the JB one and moved it across and added it to the KK one. Did not want to flash it though. Don't think I can add to the lk.bin like that since it is a HEX file.

Yes ,this was the one i flashed, no problems at the moment.

It's an hex file, but there are programs like SP_MDT capable of modifying it, we just need someone who knows how to work with that stuff

installed ok,lost my imei's and MTK tools will not let me replace them

I installed ROM smoothly
See mtkdroidtools the phone looks root
but
mobileuncle phone looks not root
For this reason I could not install imei replacement.
But unlockroot Pro program took root my phone with

This requires a modified boot.img and also modified smali files in services.jar , Not for the faint hearted .
