Hi guys.
I had the same problem, with the screen fading to black and then restart. I thought it could be because of processor overload or something, so I installed a CPU manager. Solved.

You could probably start by taking the suggestions that have worked for others. Factory reset or a different firmware. Let us know how it turns out.
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth

i have the same problem, and i think to it is and overload of CPU or something like that because it freeze specially when i use text speeching. More, when i play to candy crush (yes i know it is a stupid game) the game is sometime slow and sometime fast (mainly depend on battery level) .
So the CPU clearly varry, but is it a hardware or software problem ?
