There are 3 settings, not just AGPS and Wi-Fi/Mobile network location. Check settings -> Accounts -> Google -> Location settings. Do you have that turned on as well?
Yeah also have that turned on, Google Maps will ask about it when you don't.
Even tried to turn off GPS and only have wifi/mobile location turned on and nothing happens...
If it works on your phone it must be some kind of error somewhere, but I don't know where to look for a solution .
Have you tried different firmware? It's likely not a hardware issue. It could be a software bug in the firmware that's keeping AGPS from getting a fix.
