I noticed that when I open Google Maps for example my phone only tries to get a position from GPS.
This is fine, but normally when you are indoors and connected to Wifi the phone uses your wifi to get a position.
This position always worked at home and at work on ally my android phones and on my iphone.
I already enabled all options in the location settings, A-GPS and the checkbox to use wifi and mobile network locations. But it never gives me a location indoors.
As you can see below I enabled the checkbox and no location is shown in Google Maps. I know this has to work because I use the same networks as on my other older phones.
Does anyone know hot to fix this?
Settings for wifi and network locations:
Google maps when I tap the icon to go to your current position:

Is it with all apps, or only Google Maps? Try Maps With Me.

It is with all aps and also global in the phone.
Added the google now widget and it never knows any maps because the phone has no idea where I am.
Also in Rainy Days (rain info app for The Netherlands) I never get a position apart from GPS, but I only use it indoors like most apps..
Beginning to think I need to install custom recovery to install updates or another rom...

I just tried Google Maps. I usually use Maps With Me because Google maps doesn't allow offline downloading of map data in my area. Turning GPS off but allowing Google apps to find my location via data works.
There are 3 settings, not just AGPS and Wi-Fi/Mobile network location. Check settings -> Accounts -> Google -> Location settings. Do you have that turned on as well?

Yeah also have that turned on, Google Maps will ask about it when you don't.
Even tried to turn off GPS and only have wifi/mobile location turned on and nothing happens...
If it works on your phone it must be some kind of error somewhere, but I don't know where to look for a solution .

Have you tried different firmware? It's likely not a hardware issue. It could be a software bug in the firmware that's keeping AGPS from getting a fix.
