just to clarify the situation, you flashed your stock ROM and were able to boot into Android. Then while using it, it freezes, so you need to switch it off by pulling out the battery, and you get bricked. correct?
do you get bricked immediately?
After flashing, did you try doing a factory reset?
Is there a more recent ROM version for your phone? have you tried that?

To clarify, I was indeed able to boot into Android after I successfully flashed 1.0.7, after which I OTA-updated to 1.0.9
After installing all of my needed apps, I just put the phone away for a moment and while locked, it froze down, and I had to pull the battery, and from that moment, am not able to charge or boot the phone...

how about before your first brick, did you also update to 1.0.9?
Try to use it without installing other apps first. see if it will still freeze.
im not entirely sure what the problem is there. you could also be running out of memory. might be a bug with the kernel, perhaps the phone is not automatically freeing up space, causing the freeze.
im not sure why you get bricked after pulling out the battery, though.
are you able to charge it after a flash?

are you able to charge it after a flash? Yes I can charge after the flash.
But the system still freezes sometimes (I think it has something to do with the preloader) , and then I have to flash the ROM again!
Any solutions?

Now I am in some more trouble.
When I connect the phone to the PC, "MTK65xx Preloader" does NOT appear in the Device Manager.
Yet, it DOES install the "MTK USB Port".
How to I get the Preloader to show up again in the device manager?

Hi MRJLJL .first I'm apologized because I'm not answer previous question. I have a some personal problems and I try to answer this.so please don't be so angry on me if I not 100% on this.so on my first thought. When I suggest no tick preloaded is nothing bad happened to your phone. Now just calm and do this open sp flash tool or mtk flash tool no meter which. Add scatter file, check DA,click on download and connect your phone with baterry on.windows should recognized your phone as mtk 65xx preloader, after that just safely disconnect you phone from PC and remove battery connect phone with PC and press power button and volume up button simultaneously hold until flash tool goes work,if flash tool go release all button at same time.(you now red, purple, blue, yellow, and grey color bar working) try flash.
I hope that could help.if not please write post and I'm do my best to try find best solution which is helped you.but as I say I really had bad time now and after I finnish that I am again 100% yours people from chinaphonearena. Thank you.

Hey rudi,
it's okay if you cannot answer this, just take a moment to yourself
Now, I figured the problem out myself:
The problem was that the MTK65xx Preloader did not show up when I connected the phone to the PC.
SOLUTION:
- leave the phone (unconnected, without battery) for half an hour
- then connect it again (without battery).
- The Preloader will install!
