We're talking a couple of days. Stock on Monday I believe. Shipping top of the week. Should easily get to you in time.
IMO its worth the piece of mind to go DHL, but your choice.

Hi
Can I add my 2 cents worth based on the need for GPS and data connection and battery drain.
Until you know you are lost, can you get by in NY with GPS turned off?
If so, you can turn off in sim management ....data connection
2) in system settings....go into apps and into each app except
your-sim-apk
contatcts
and turn OFF notifications
that way, if and when you turn on data connection and turn on GPS to find out where you are.....it takes seconds to turn on
THEN you won't have crappy apps trying to use your sim data and maybe battery juice doing upload and download sync etc
I will leave it to the experts to comment on but IMHO it will save some battery
2) go into google playstore and settings
set it to update over wifi only

Just a note here, the iNew V8 2GB is in stock. There is festival in China now. No shops will be able to ship until the 9th (regardless of what they tell you). The phones will go out on the 9th or 10th at latest assuming you order in a timely manner.
If you order, please let me know your order # so I can put a fire under it.
Regards.
