[split] Auto-Installing Apps

My China phone downloads unwanted and dirty apps without permission especially some stubborn apps like Hola. How do I block them permanently? Can I change the ROM with a new one? Does that solve my problem?

Is your phone rooted?

You might start by just running some sort of Anti-Virus program (like Lookout) and seeing if it can identify the culprit modules.

If your phone is rooted, you can remove or disable said module once you know what it is.
