what guide are you following that asks you to wipe cache?

You are supposed to be doing a full backup....no manual wiping of cache required
then you do a full restore (both within CWM)

and again you are not supposed to wipe cache.

that is because you do a full backup when you know you have a working phone.

I can't read your mind so you need to tell us why you are wiping cache pls

i just wipe cache to try and the cache partition was gone in link2sd > storage info

but i restored it by flashing the stock cache.img

can you confirm you have tested a CWM restore pls?

If so,.... this thread looks like you can do a full edit of your first post and pulldown left of subject line and mark as solved.
