At this point, i don't know what to think...
Probably your device is one of the older batch,
So it could accept all the rom available so far, that with number 1.0.3 or 1.0.4 or maybe 1.0.5 also...
Anyone can confirm this ?
If so, there is the rom from Gizbeat that's great and should be good for you

Yes, just that
There are also extras for different partitioning of memory
I can't say which is the best for you, because depend on personal use

Hello
This ROM doesn't work on my phone, whenever i try to flash it everything goes ok but then the phone is dead again, i can't turn it on and i can't get to the recovery either ?
The only ROM so far that is bringing my phone back to life again is the Lewa but the problem i have is that i can't make any calls ....
Does anyone has installed this Lewa ROM and can use the phone in Europe ?
Many Thanks !

Are you flashing it with the new preloader?
I think this could also be something to do with the scatter. Try to format the phone prior to flashing. Then 'Download' the firmware instead of 'Firmware Upgrade'. Formatting after flashing with an incorrect scatter has saved me in the past. I formatted the preloader region as well. NOT NVRAM. I'm talking about the Format button on the main screen. The reason a format can help is because if you've flashed a portion of a firmware in the wrong spot or wrong size due to incorrect firmware or incorrect scatter, little pieces are left behind when flashing over it. The format wipes it clean and fresh.
If this still doesn't work. Flash the LeWa ROM again, then restore .bin and .tar NVRAM from someone's backup. See the sticky thread tutorial on flashing NVRAM with MTK Droid Tools. That should restore your SIM capabilities. Actually you might want to try this before the above mentioned solution.
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth
