[Question] HELP, android process media has stopped

I have a new Samsung s5 and have had nothing but problems trying to set it up.

first of all it said 'invalid imei' and after investigating I have found that the number on the back of the phone is different to the number inside.

is that normal?

anyway after a lot of messing around it is somehow working but not fully.
I can only download certain apps from 'google play'. the only 2 that I need are 'facebook' and 'viber' but they stop downloading after around 60% with an error code 492 and 'android process media has stopped'

can anybody help please?

its real, brand new.

I can install anything but 'viber' and 'facebook'

also I have only 3gb free of internal storage of 16gb, is that normal?

My guess is you don't actually have a real S5. Probably MT6572 clone. Download pdanet drivers, install the drivers on PC. Run MTK Droid Tools and see what comes up.

Ok after several resets it now has 12 gb free but when i down load 'viber' first it comes up with a 42 mb file but 7gb has been taken from my internal storage even though the 42 mb file is on sd card.
