have fun with your new phone, the Lenovo z K910 is pretty close to perfect if you ignore the missing SD card slot.
i really hope the successor with LTE will have the slot, because then it's going to be mine..

It's a good choice. I'd recommend changing the launcher right away and take a good look at what is on they phone for apps. Things like power manager is almost like du battery saver, etc.... If you change the messaging app make sure to allow it in the securit app permisions. Also all contact numbers need to be in the format of + then country code then the rest, example +1xxxxxxxxxx.
Enjoy the phone.

Just wait. You'll hit some shots and people will swear they came from a DSLR!
You rarely have to use the flash because the night shot mode works really well in a lot of the dimmer conditions.
Have fun.

Even my Lenovo K860 produce excellent result with HDR mode activated, it a shame that I lost the phone.
Since my previous phone was in moderation, I could not edit it. I just want to show a sample of pic taken by my old Lenovo K860.
My grandma on her 86th birthday.
This one taken at night with flash.

The original post is of interest to ALL smartphone users, not just the OP ...
f1.8 lens aperture coming?
Let us know, if & when it appears, please.
I expect the later model camera-phones to have improved optics & electronics. The first productions of the newest models would PROBABLY have manufacturing faults, since it takes a few runs before these sun-rise products are debugged. This includes quality control, for which Chinese unofficial retailers are famous (for the wrong reasons!).
If very new models, I would expect OTA-ROM upgrades, and NEEDROM.COM listing for the phone's manufacturer. This enables the ROM-updates to be immediately available, for months or years to come.
All very new camera-phones have ROM & firmware that is not really mature enough, at the first few releases, IMHO. Generally the HDR part of the camera will need tweaking, to at least met the standards of the third-party app creators. There are so many HDR camera apps already.
HDR usually means that a few or many camera photos are combined into one. This means: fast memory/ CPU, large spare memory, large less aperture, high ISO, bright LED or other lighting, and possibly a very stable camera-phone physical platform (eg tripod).
Camera-phones need also:
1) good wifi/ Bluetooth connectivity (remote viewing, storage, control).
2) replacable battery (continuous, long term usage, including monitoring, control & viewing)
3) external memory storage (usually mSD card; but including wifi, mUSB, etc).
The very latest Samsung camera-phone is getting closer to our needs. The Nokia's are crippled by poor operating system. Only the Chinese makes seem to offer value for money, ATM, but China's technology is still primitive, both hardware & software. Next year? Or next century?

I see what you are saying but I don't think is a fair statement right across the board. I wouldn't place Samsung's cameras any higher than Oppo, Vivo, Gionee, Lenovo Vibe Z, or the OnePlus One from what we've seen. There are some great cameras out there.
The big thing to consider when we are talking about cameras on phones is that they are exactly that. If you are a hardcore photographer then nothing but a DSLR will do.
I personally don't like lugging a camera along with me so a descent camera on a phone makes me more than happy. It's just preference and where your standards are.

[snip] the best camera, EVER, is the one that you have on hand. It's no good if your DSLR is in a suitcase in the cargo-container!
I'm glad that you always have your DSLR on you, at all times, everywhere; even underwater! [snip]
It seems you are also unaware of emerging technologies in cameras & photographics. Japanese & some Korean brandnames are the world retail leaders in camera & photographics. [snip]
In case you did not know, my Made-in-China in-law families tell me that the reason China has a Space-Moon program is that they are scientifically trying to catch up with the USA & Japan. Pure scientific research is the only way that new technology can be discovered. If any nation relies on theft of other's knowledge, they will always be losers, with loser technologies. That's why Australia's leaders are closing down scientific research in Australia. We want to be losers!
Sorry abou any personal loss-of-face. I'm trying to create & define truth. My $$ does not come from commercial nor political interests. I'll be in China later this year, so we might meet sometime?

Whoa you need to settle down... Lol. You are arguing points that we agree on. I haven't owned a DSLR in quite some time because I feel my phone is good enough in most cases for what I need. Having a camera in your phone is the greatest thing because you never have to miss a shot again. All I was saying is that there are a number of companies that have good cameras in their phones but those people that are big into photography will neve be satisfied with a camera in a phone.
As for all the Chinese references like me being a Chinese marketing agency or meeting in China... I'm not Chinese nor do I even live in China.... Funny post though.

well i own a DSLR, and i take mostly all my pictures with my phone.
Setting up the DSLR you just miss too many opportunities for "snaps", and i have to admit i nearly never carry the DSLR around.
i even have a very nice Sony Cybershot that is nice and slim and never gets used.
i agree - the best camera is the camera you always have with you.
so that means i want a phone with a decent camera, the iNew V3 is ok for what i want.
i would have preferred the Lenovo Vibe Z, but well.. no SDCard slot is a dealbreaker for me.
What i would want is a camera-phone with good specs and not being bulky, with mirrorless slr and changeable lenses. (preferrably some big brand mounts eg Nikon/Canon/Sony/etc.)
the samsung camera-phone is too bulky and the specs are bad.
the new samsung cp coming up looks a bit better, but it's still not there.
so to make it perfectly clear - i want a Mirrorless SLR in a phone, or if that aint happening a Nokia Lumia 1020 with Android...
