[Question] Alps Phonei5

Hi there,

I'm a newbie to this forum and found it out as I was searching for my problem.

I've bought a chinese phone that I cannot make calls from it as it has no IMEI and no ICCID.
Been checking and for the IMEI the phone must be rooted and that another thing that until now I could not do it and I've tested alot and I mean alot of different systems without success.
So if you can give me any info about this phone and how to make it a usable phone I would be much appreciated.

Hello Halfsun, you should be able to root the phone with one of the methods in the Root forum.

There are many different methods to write the IMEI. Try searching IMEI in the search bar.

There is no firmware here that I've seen.

Ok, thanks.
For now I'll give it a try to root the device and to insert the IMEI in it.
Then I'll check and will search for some firmware for it and will post my results for others in the same situation.
