Has anyone had any problems with the rear camera? Mine has stopped,and my phone does not even show that it has one in rear. If any one knows what the problem is could you please help me. thanks

How long have you had the phone?

Have you tried 3rd party apps?

Have you tried factory reset?

About 9 days worked good at first but I put a different rom on it.Tried 3rd party apps,I think it is a firmware problem.Thanks for the reply. jaxs

So the camera stopped working after you put new firmware. Doesn't that seem like a pretty important piece of information?

Yes that is why I told you. I thought firmware was same,but found out today it is in fact different,I have the same rom on two phones.Only thing I thought was different was one white one black,but found out black has a newer firmware.The white one still works like before modded.Mistake on me for not checking before modding.

What do you mean it has newer 'firmware'? You said they have the same ROM, but different firmware. Firmware=ROM.

Was the camera working before you flashed the new firmware?

Have you tried flashing back to the stock firmware?

My phone came with thl.w100.130701.jbv2.hd.en.com.8p32_MT6589. It will work if use flash tool and flash back to the firmware that came on it.But I lose cwm recovery.

Gizbeat, thanks for your reply's.Do you know of a root for the latest version on the thl w100.I can not find one that will root ThL.W100.130701.JBV2.HD.EN.COM.8P32_MT6589. Thanks for any info you may have. jaxs

Be careful friend if your cellphone came with thl.w100.130701.jbv2.hd.en.com.8p32_MT6589 and you donwgrade to a older firmware you will looser your rear camera functionality.
