Hi,
Ok, I have located your ubuntu post for future reference. I'm going to try to install ubuntu on pendrives (not live distros but real installations), 1 for 32 bits in case I can find an SP Tool that works on my CPU and another one a 64 bit to use at a friend's home. Afterwards I'll follow all your steps to make SP Tool work and let's see where I land. No hurry here, this is going to take a while
