Phone for my mum - W450

My mum uses a HTC wildfire but the recent you tube update means that she cannot use you tube anymore.

My mum's main uses are youtube and youtube and youtube
And she uses whatsapp / camera.
Just needs a decent phone,

i prefer JK11.

so far to me they r the cheapest quad core phone

but the stock rom is not so good,

Do you have the modem backed up? would you be willing to share your modem? it's similar to me C30, but yours is 850 while mine is 900, I would like to flash your 850 to see if it unlocks my 3G, which is locked at 900.

So sorry for not updating soon enough, had a few things going on.

It was going very cheap for a phone with 2gb RAM so I ordered 2 of them.

What do you guys think?

i had ordered two for my friends.

one was recived about 1 month ago.
i had changed the rom to Inew V3 v1.1.1, recently my friend ask me to redo the rom, because , it still clash/jam once in a while.

the other one just recieved yesterday.
so i should have two in hand by monday, and try to check if the rom can be improved a little bit.

at the moment, i am thinking that the driver for the hardware is a problem that cause the jam.

ya, u said it is a 2 gb ram phone, but the info should be fake, it is only1Gb ram.

try to see if u can chage to jiake jk 11
i think the touch quality is more precise than the one in JK 12.
Jk 12 the touch is not so acurate, especially when the battery is low.

I thought so as well, but there are many JK12 on Aliexpress reporting 2gb RAM. That doesn't mean it's not fake, but also possible there are a couple different versions out there. That being said, 2gb/4gb does seem a very strange combination.

yes, when u see in the system, it show 2 gb
, but actually it is one gb.

after u install the rom
when u go to manage app
running ram is about 1 gb, free one gb.

as we know that , to run 4.2.2, it is about 400-500mb

so for seller, they will say that it show 2 gb, so it is a 2gg ram phone.
in actual fact, when u run 1 gb ram it will show 2 gb in the system
so come back to the point. that mean they multiply the number by 2 in the system

Normally my 1GB phones when first booted up will use 500+MB. After booted up for awhile and doing a few things, will sit at about 800+.

I didn't know either way with the Jiake JK12. You've got the phone, so you know best. Good to know Jiake JK12 is fake 2GB. Do you know if all Jiakes are coming like that from the factory?

All the specs I saw on Jiake JK12 clearly label the phone as 1GB ram, so to me only this dealer is mislabeling the phones, not other vendors, nor is the phone manufacture.

If I bought a phone that I beleived was 2GB ram, and the phone I got was 1Gb ram, either the dealer would give me half my money back, or full refund.
