I received my Z7 Max from Vickmall about two weeks ago and it all went smoothly. They even included a phone stand, rooted and extra screen protector free of charge and installed the Tempered Glass screen protector I ordered separately. The silicone case is also one of the best I've seen. Top quality service and accessories all around.
The phone itself is a great value. Pros and cons:
Pros:
Good battery life
Excellent standby
UI features (one handed and split mode are brilliant)
Super quick
Relatively small for a 5.5" phone (it's narrower than my K910, so it's much easier to handle)
Very solid build (my K910 felt too delicate, this doesn't)
Very good wifi reception
Nice screen (1080p, it should be)
Both sims 3G and LTE
Fast charging is very nice to have (0-60% in about 30 minutes)
Cons:
Only 2.5gb for app storage for a 32gb phone is ridiculous (but root and link2sd helps). I don't want to risk repartitioning.
Some hidden quirks and features that required help from the various forums. Why not include an instruction manual in the software?
Some pre-installed apps would re-install themselves after removal and they were loaded with adware. Froze them with Backup Pro instead.
Limited ringtones
Gmail message notifications are inconsistent (still troubleshooting that)
Some software features seem to reset themselves but that could be my fiddling around
It's not a beauty by any means (the K910 was gorgeous) but it's covered by a case all the time anyway
There's more but I can't remember everything right now. If the similarly priced Meizu MX4 and One Plus had dual-sim and an sd slot I probably would have bought them, especially the Meizu. Those two features make the Nubia a far better phone and better value. This without a doubt kills the "flagship killer".
