No Name Chinese phone

Hello i bought a phone and i am trying to root but having problems.
the phone doesnt have a name trying to figure things out.

model# 2706_v92_gq3009fw

Baseband version moly.wr8.w1315.md.wg.mp.v21

Leaping ahead of myself, a number of Chinese phones use the mediatek chipset so can be rooted with
framaroot

I got the phone rooted now. I just cant get cvm on it.

1) Ok I assume you used the tool I linked to earlier?

Most mediatek devices can use Mobileuncle from playstore to flash their new recovery on
The problem is, you have to use a recovery designed for your hardware and you have not named actual chipset

Therefore you may wish to look at posts in this sub-forum

2) Do you know how to get into recovery mode for your phone?
some are full power off
hold power button and press and hold volume up

but mine requires an usb connection data lead....go figure!

3) Assuming you have a Windows pc you need an usb driver,
but as you have not mentioned your chipset, you could try these chipsets that work?

sorry been away. here is the info on the phone that i bought. please help me find the right recovery to flash. For some reason when i rooted i probably flashed the wrong recovery and now i can not access the recovery mode.

I am sorry to hear you think you have the wrong recovery on your phone.

Can you get into normal phone boot up and playstore?

I am still unclear, how putting a superuser binary on your phone caused you to get the wrong recovery.

Please take the time to tell us exactly what steps you followed.

I asked a similar question in post 4 and I am not a mind reader!

2) I assume you already knew needrom.com had no mention of any custom rom or recovery for your phone?

3) I asked you to look at our CPA mediatek forum. Did you do so?

Leaping ahead, I and others may be able to assist you get the correct recovery on your phone.
But we need you to contact your supplier and get them to email you the Chinese recovery.

Next time I might have to put that in capitals? and be even more blunt.
You can not just put any recovery on, but one designed to work for your actual device.

Heck......they are different companies and according to my eyesight have the same IMEI!!!!

edit 2 There appears to be even more phones with same antutu model number.......not that it makes it yours

both antutu images claim the brand is alps

so I won't edit any more until we know more from your responses.
