New multilanguage ROM from INNOS
Hi MartinPoel,
thank you very much for this ide. After I did my backup I tried to do so. I booted the device using temporary TWRP. I tried wiping cache and Dalvic cache, but I´ve got an error regarding Dalvic cache. Message told me it´s not possible to wipe Dalvic cache because the device is crypted.
After first reboot dial out worked just one time well and then I have had the same bug where outbound calls failed if setting is "Ask every time" regarging SIM1 or SIM2.

Regards,
Michael

The new ROM is out here [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register], but I am unable to download it, it looks like it is a server problem.

Martin

I have contacted them and was promised this:
Hey there, please leave me your address - I will send you the link to our cloud this afternoon/evening.
It is wait and see.
In the mean time my internal battery looks like it is failing, it is really swollen, also our Telcos are switching of the GSM towers I am OK for now, but next April I need at least 2 X 3G to have a working Dual SIM phone.
Looks like I might have to go Xaomi Redmi Note 3 pro.
Regards,
Martin

I gues we should wait for stevejc's input on the new firmware. It says it will brick all Innnos not bought from innos.com

Ok I managed to download the 3.2 version ROM from the Polish site [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
I took me some 20 times before I had a complete copy.
I copied it to the SD card and did the upgrade as instructed on the web site last night and at first the phone did not start and seemed to be in a boot loop where, like, it is installing all the apks and when they are installed it starts all over installing the apks again.
Yesterday there was no notice about not to use the update on Chinese phones, and even if there had been I would have still tried it as I very much doubt that there is any difference between the Chinese and EU version Innos D6000.
Anyway after about an hour or so things sorted itself out and the phone started like a new one, asking the usual questions.
I can now report that all is working OK and it definitely looks like it is Android 6.0.1.
I can also report that I had the random reboots when I was using a Tracker apk that uses the GPS, on all previous ROMs (2.4, 2.6, 3.0, 3.3, etc.)
The phone has now had the tracker going for over 10 hours on the new ROM and no reboot, looking good.
I also noticed yesterday that my internal battery had stated to swell up, looking closely it appeared that it was a build up of gas of some kind, as the battery was/is performing well I decided that it would not hurt to let the pressurised gas out, as the main use of the plastic envelope is to exclude moisture from the Lithium inside. All I did was take off the back cover, peel back the large sticky label about 25%, when you do this the plastic envelope sealing the battery pulls a little away from the actual battery underneath, so with a sharp needle I punctured the plastic bag (careful not to hit the battery components underneath), pushed out the air/gas and stuck the label back on the battery, sealing the envelope again, result is no more swollen battery and battery still performing normal.
It looks that I now have got a phone that is sorted, pity that they are shutting down the GSM network in Australia (Telstra last week, Optus next April and Vodaphone next September) making this phone into a single SIM phone.
Looks like I might be up for an Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 in the new year.
Regards,
Martin

Update, it is still doing random reboots when the tracker is operating, must be a hardware issue.

Phone died last night, stuck in infinite reboots.
Unable to go to recovery by pushing vol. up and power.
It looks like it is the end of the road for Innos for me.

Why dont you try replacing the battery?
I had reboots that went away after installing a new internal battery I ordered from Innos.com
No need to go for a new phone that does not do all our innos can do.

In fact, the smartphone don't boot without internal battery.

Infinite reboots is most probably due internal battery EOL. Replace the internal one and enjoy usong again this exotic phone.

Infinite reboots is most probably due internal battery EOL. Replace the internal one and enjoy usong again this exotic phone.

The internal battery was working fine, with normal capacity right up to the moment it went into the infinite reboots.
Just before it died, it froze using Facebook (happened on a regular basis, Facebook uses the GPS and my Innos D6000 did random reboots every few hours when you used the GPS), when it rebooted it did not do the normal reboot with the Innos Logo in the circle, but got to the first screen, and after 17 seconds or so blacks out and this repeats over and over.
I can not get it to the recovery screen like I was able before.
I am not willing to pay the money for a new internal battery, that most likely will not fix the issue anyway, and if it fixes the issue, I will again have a phone that reboots on a regular basis.
Sorry, but enough is enough I am jumping ship to Xiaomi.
Regards, Martin
