I just did it today since my camera is not working.
Download ROM
Install USB VCOM Port driver,
Flash using Flash Tool, I used SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1328.0.183 (do not use the tool from chinese site)
Takes 10 minutes to complete all actions.

I'm not sure if I will find the time this weekend (flashing in 10 Minutes isn't the big problem, but then reinstalling all the software...), but will try as soon as I can and then report back.

Unfortunatelly not. I see that others have also problem with the camera on I6000.
I have bought mine at banggood. They asked me to update the phone. Otherwise I would not take a risk. I got a link from them for the rom but it was the same build as on my phone. Anyhow, I flashed it. Did not help. Even the camera app icon is not available between other apps.
But what the most strange is, at the certified service point they measured it and said that the both camera's are working perfectly.
A driver problem maybe ?

thats strange.
Did you try a third party camera App ?
(like "Camera FV-5")

What kind of service point was it and how did they measure the cam ? Sounds fishy to me.

It cannot be a driver problem as you flashed stock firmware.
I have a defective i6000 but both cameras are fine, they are quite easy to replace.
What phone is it ? an iNew i6000 2/32 or a Firefly V65 or ???

I was almost sure I get it working after flashing...
It is an Inew I6000 1/16.

Hi, Hanna! Sorry to read you are having trouble with the camera. May I ask, what diagnostic app/tool did you use? Is problem with one or both cameras?

It does sound like a hardware problem and, as the phone should be under warranty, I would start the replacement process with banggood immediately.
You should not have to fix the phone, especially after requested "update" did not correct problem.
I hope this is resolved for you as soon as possible!

I find that answer from Banggood to be terrible customer service. You should have a 1 year warranty and they should replace the phone at their cost, not make you feel responsible or expect you to wait for some ridiculous amount of time to have it repaired; Per their own [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]. You need to keep pushing them to replace the phone and demand they pay for the shipping cost. If you wish to pay extra for DHL in order to minimize time without phone, that's your choice. You may have to fight with them, but don't give up. You should either get a replacement phone or full refund... do not settle for anything less!!!

Hello, i need that firmware, , i have it from the beging , but i saw a new update end flash it , but the same as othere users , no camera app end also if download from play store only saw the front camera. So who have it? end flash it back end work the both camera? Thank you !!!
