Is all right until pulse "replace IMEI" then appears these lines:
--- ERROR: dev/radio/pttycmd1 inaccessible, Should be Root Shell
--- ERROR: NOT pttycmd1 device found!
I have UMI X1S MT6589
Please help me. My English is very poor. I wrote this with the help of Google translator.
I have the same problem with the Lenovo A820. I tried everything but I still have invalid IMEI. Are you somehow fix the problem?
Thank you!

Try this.
Install Mobile Uncle Tool first.
Which has option to restore your IMEI.

I got this from another source and it worked for me and my MTK phone
Dial “* # * # 3646633 # * # * 2- then follow that path –> CDS info –> Radio info –> Phone1 (for the first imei) 3- at the top there is a command line which begins “AT+” just type there “AT +EGMR=1,7,”IMEI_1? (instead of IMEI_1 put your first imei number) 4- hit send command 5-if you done just reboot the phone, if you change the second imei go to step 2 and select “Phone2? 6-and enter the code “AT +EGMR=1,10,”IMEI_2? (instead of IMEI_2 put your second imei number) hit send command 7-reboot 8-Dail ” *#06#” Check Imei(onlyshow the first one)

u can go n google the word " SN write station" , it said imei written is permanant. I never tried this method before.
for me , My star S7589, every time i flash the new rom, i have lost my imei also, but i just use the app "mobileuncle tool" to restore my imei.
so what u can do is
do a imei backup in yr sd card with the app"mobileuncle tool"
then whenever u do a reset or after flashing a new rom, reinstall yr "mobileuncle", then restore yr imei with the "mobileuncle"

Here is a pdf which describes is how to format the Nvram and flashes a new stock firmware.
Yes, the stock firmware is the original firmware for your phone! The earlier you get there you have to format after it's all gone!!
When the stock firmware to flash the hook in Preloder make out! Ignore the error message.
SpFlashtool and drivers available here on the board.
thank you very much..its really work.no need to change IMEI anymore coz stock original rom..
