Spec wise it's a better phone and a very good price considering 2gb RAM and 6.0". You will notice some difference between 1 and 2 in regards to apps staying in the loop. Android will otherwise seem the same as compared to 1gb.

KitKat is no big loss. Unless there was some particular feature you needed from KitKat.

The Dagger is 1000x cooler looking. I have a particular aversion to clones. Not just for the fact that it's a clone, but that Samsung phones have somewhat blah style. Style is a matter of taste though. I think it's a good purchase.
