I bought this phone from AliExpress

I really like it and considering the price (around 160/180 USD), I am surprised about how great it works (yes, it's my first Chinaphone )

I hope I did a good thing posting theese info, I'm trying to figure out how to Root it and Eventually flash a custom ROM. I'll make sure to post updates on this thread time by time.

Did u realise the front n back camera both r 13mp?
And the ram is 3GB?
i like the orginal flip case with the s-view window like the s4.

I own this phone since 2 weeks now, and indeed, it's a good one !

By the way, there is a small problem with battery. It seems that the phone (at least, mine !) never goes into deep sleep, so the processor keep running and running, and that drains the battery. I have to plug the phone every evening, even if the battery is 100% in the morning

Did you noticed that on your phone ? or is it just mine ?
My android version is 4.3.

That's not normal. Which app are you using to check deep sleep on your MP 809T?

Thank you for the link that I will read carefully.

Here is the list of the software I use for checking deep sleep : CPU spy plus, better battery stats.

As you can see, deep sleep is never used, and frequency 1000 he is used most of the time. :-(

Like the people who posted before me, no regret in buying this phone, it's absolutely AWESOME and I don't regret selling my S3 to buy this one.

About the battery, I never had a smartphone which battery lasts for more than a working day (12/15 hours), In stress times the battery is drained in less than 10 hours 8like if you play games a lot).

I know for sure that having mobile data enabled all the time will drain your battery faster, so when you don't need it you should disable it from the comfy quicklink in the notification area. Anyway my battery lasts an average of 14 hours withour charging it.

I got a friend of mine to buy the same phone after he saw mine, and I bet he won't be the only one who will.

TALKING ABOUT THE PHONE

CAMERA & PICTURES:

The quality of the pictures is GREAT, I usually installed Camera Zoom FX on my S3 to make the pics look better but I uninstalled it on this MP809T: the built in camera is fast and takes great pictures without any need of external fixes, it also comes with some interesting photo modes such as:

NORMAL: normal shooting mode
HDR: Same as iPhone, it takes 2 shots and then combine them to get a better exposure/light/contrasts etc
FACE BEAUTY: It's the funniest thing ever! Basically you take a picture of somebody's face and it will automatically "enhance" it to make it look totally "kawaii": skin smoohing and eye zooming/shining. Try to believe.
PANORAMA: nothing more to add, except that it will give you an arrow line to keep the panorama as perfect as it ever has
MULTI ANGLE: simile alla panoramica ma darà un rendering "3D"
AUTO SCENE: ???
SMILE SHOT: it will take the picture as soon as a smile is recognized
BESTSHOT: ???
EV BRACKET: ???

CALL QUALITY:
Excellent, nothing to add.

SMS BUILT IN APP:
Very smooth and well designed, again I usually use MySMS to substitute the default SMS app, this time i didn't need to change it.

GPS SIGNAL & PRECISION:
Excellent, never had a problem. Fast signal lock out of the box

GESTURE SENSING:
THe idea is great and it actualy works quite well on the launcher/camera/gallery.
Although if you install your own musicplayer (I uninstalled Mobo and replaced it with Poweramp), gesture won't work to change track and I havent found any way to link it to poweramp. Ended up disabling it to save some battery.

SPEAKERS:
Great volume (louder than S3) and neat quality. I noticed in my car that plugging the jack cable to hear the music on my car stereo the sound is much more clear compared to S3. May be just an impression... still...

About the focus... it happened to me too, it was about the light in that room that was not good. If you also can't take pictures in sun light, well no clue.
