Looking for modems

If anyone has a 850 or 1900 3G enabled modem, backed up and is willing to share, I would be grateful, I want to flash them and see if the 900/2100 3G lock can be unlocked via software.

modem family needs to be

moly.wr8.w1315.md.wg.mp

my modem is

moly.wr8.w1315.md.wg.mp.v5.p6

my guess last numbers determine bandmode

I tried this modem and many others, I only found one modem that would work in my phone, but it didn't allow unlocking could be it was only 900/2100 itself, anyway thanks for the share.

Having just done some testing of my baseband I found your post and are these images useful (850 and 1900 are in bold) ?

sorry I can not delete post, ahh just found out that my image is misleading for bold settings. Phone only good for 900/2100 (2000)

on another forum ....google mt6589 new baseband if interested, OP claims the version number is essential to match
maybe stevenma61 could confirm he was on v5?
